日前馬英九總統在接受《華盛頓郵報》專訪最後表示：「Hopefully we will see some signs of revitalization in the later part of next year, But that requires a lot of efforts and also a lot of luck. 」表露出當前馬政府對於此波全球性經濟大衰退，仍舊過於樂觀未能深刻體認問題的根源，同時對未來世界變局可能形成的嚴峻情勢，仍舊未做好最起碼心理上的準備，令人憂心。
